Meet us under the moonlight of 1874…
Join PHA (Vic) for a fun summery opening to this year’s calendar of events. We will start with a toast to the year in the Chandon Nature Bar at 6pm and then be treated to a tour of the exhibition followed by an exclusive Q and A with the Curator, Bec Carland (our very own vice president).
In a reimagining of the museum experience, Melbourne Museum’s flagship summer exhibition has reached out to a younger audience with plenty of unexpected sights and sounds, and none of the usual exhibition text or labels.
Riffing on themes of love, time and immortality, a cheeky narrator takes visitors through a series of offbeat scenes, along the way introducing museum curators and everyday people who share unexpected and passionate stories about the museums incredible collection.
There is a cost of $15 for PHA members, and $20 for non-members, which includes your entry to the exhibition, and nibbles following the tour. Drinks are compliments of PHA (Vic). Please arrive promptly at 6pm.
Please RSVP by Sunday 4 February
P.S. You do like disco, don’t you?
