An Acknowledgement to Country can be found in everything we do! Alana Marsh, a Meriam woman (Torres Strait Islander) living in Naarm (Melbourne), will help us to find ways to understand this concept and acknowledge Country in meaningful ways. She will share her perspectives on connections to Country, how we can all engage with the vibration of a place, drawing on our biorhythmic potential to explore its nested abundance. Participants will come away with the tools to write their own Acknowledgement to Country.

This zoom training is open to all members of the Professional Historians of Australia at a cost of $25. PHA (Vic & Tas) is proud to support this training which will enhance the professionalism and knowledge of all our members.

PHA (Vic & Tas) acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the many Countries on which we practise and their continuing connection to land, culture and community. We pay respects to Elders past and present and to the generations who have held and passed on the stories and knowledge of the lands, waters and people. We support the ongoing truth-telling processes in Victoria and Tasmania.
