Each year the Royal Historical Society of Victoria and PHA (Vic & Tas) host the annual Emerging Historians event where we celebrate new and emerging historians. Come and hear three speakers share their exciting and new research on the theme of historical research and the element of surprise.

Come and join us for an evening of fascinating insights and lively discussion.

Chaired by Andrew Lemon, former RHSV President and Sophie Couchman, President PHA (Vic & Tas).

Proudly presented by the Professional Historians of Australia (Victoria & Tasmania) and the Royal Historical Society of Victoria.

This event will be held at the RHSV Drill Hall, but also live streamed via Zoom.

PHA (Vic & Tas) acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the many Countries on which we practise and their continuing connection to land, culture and community. We pay respects to Elders past and present and to the generations who have held and passed on the stories and knowledge of the lands, waters and people. We support the ongoing truth-telling processes in Victoria and Tasmania.
